Attention is given to cultivating full body awareness and a sense of calm energy. This class begins with a flow of postures designed to warm and open the body and closes with grounding restorative postures and an extended mindfulness practice. You will work in this class to build strength in bones, muscles, and balance. Modifications will be offered, allowing each student to find the right version of a pose for their body.  Students can expect to come away from this class feeling centered and refreshed.  No experience is necessary.   *Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and yoga blocks

This course gives young makers that critical edge. We start by exploring the magic of electronics with simple circuits, then begin making customized programmable devices with Arduino. We will gain practice working with LEDs, speakers, a variety of sensors, and several kid-friendly programming interfaces. Each class day is a chance to design, build, and code a new hands-on project while developing a valuable skill set.  *The Recreation Director will meet the children at the end of the school day and walk them to class.

It’s the perfect mix of creativity, friendship, and empowerment — where every girl leaves feeling brilliant inside and out.  Each girl will create dozens of make and take-home projects.  Each child receives a Free Top Secret Science Tee Shirt!  A wonderful 3 hours of adventure each day.  Hope to see you there!!
