Friday Night Live 2025-2026 - FNL: May 1 FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE Dates: October 3, November 7, December 5, January 9, February 6, March 6, *April 4 (Saturday), May 1, and June 5*April’s FNL is on Saturday, April 4, 2026 off-site and requires a different registration and is FREE. Time: 7:00 – 9:00 pm (unless otherwise posted) Eligible Participants: Must be residents of Carlisle who are in grades 5 – 8 whether at Carlisle Public School, Private School, or Home Schooled. Coordinator: Carlisle Youth Commission CARLISLE YOUTH COMMISSION – FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE The Carlisle Youth Commission (CYC) is a town committee made up of five (5) to eight (8) Carlisle parents/guardians. The primary goal of the CYC is to provide safe, all-inclusive, and fun monthly FNL events for Carlisle middle school-aged residents (grades 5-8) from public and private schools, as well as those who are home-schooled, to socialize with their peers. These monthly events have become known as Friday Night Live (FNL). FNL is typically held on the first Friday of the month in the Corey Gym and Exercise Room at the Carlisle Public School from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., unless pre-empted by a scheduling conflict or occurring on a snow day. FNL is run by members of the CYC with help from parent chaperones. Although FNL is held at the Carlisle Public School, FNL is sponsored by the Town of Carlisle rather than by the Carlisle Public School.FNL themes vary from month to month. Monthly activities include volleyball, basketball, ping pong, arts and crafts, a movie and a DJ for dancing. Occasionally, we have special events such as an obstacle course challenge, basketball tournament and/or professional Photo Booth. The fee per FNL event is $15, this helps to defray the cost for our DJ, decorations, SWAG, equipment and pizza, snacks and drinks. Once registered for an event, your child will receive tickets at the door, which they can use as collateral for pizza, snacks, and/or photos at the photo booth. In order to attend any FNL event, your eligible child MUST BE REGISTERED IN ADVANCE. WE WILL NOT PERMIT ANY CHILD THAT IS NOT FULLY REGISTERED IN ADVANCE TO ATTEND AN FNL EVENT. IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT FULLY REGISTERED, THEY WILL BE TURNED AWAY AT THE DOOR AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO CALL YOU TO PICK THEM BACK UP. WE REALLY WOULD LIKE TO PREVENT THIS FROM EVER HAPPENING – SO PLEASE REGISTER YOUR CHILD IN ADVANCE. THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR. All parents of middle school-aged children who participate in FNL are obligated to chaperone at least one (1) FNL during the school year. Dates with reminders about FNL are announced in the Carlisle Mosquito, The Buzz, and in Carlisle Middle School Announcements. Financial Assistance is available by reaching out to carlisleyouthcommission@gmail.com2025-2026 CARLISLE YOUTH COMMISSIONChelsea Mascari, Co-ChairBrooke Mackintosh, Co-ChairHeather WrightMatthew DeCastroRyan LesterJanelle Kapusta CHAPERONING AT FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE The Carlisle Youth Commission (“CYC”) needs ten (10) to fifteen (15) parents/guardians (over 18 years of age) to operate Friday Night Live (“FNL”) events and activities. By registering your child for FNL, you agree to submit a CORI and SORI through Carlisle Town Hall, and once cleared, your sign-up to chaperone at least one FNL event during the 2025-26 Carlisle Public School year will be approved. Please note if you already have a valid CORI on file with Carlisle Public School you will not need to complete a new CORI. If you do not have a CORI on file or your CORI has expired (they are valid for three years) you will be asked to submit a CORI and SORI to the Town of Carlisle. FNL SignUp Genius I agree to sign up to chaperone at least one Friday Night Live (FNL) event during the 2025-26 school year and have a valid CORI/SORI on file with Town of Carlisle and if not, will submit a CORI/SORI form for approval with the Town of Carlisle.

We wanted to update everyone on our waitlist policy now and going forward. Theater programs work differently than most activities. Most theater programs hold auditions to make sure their cast is balanced for parts in a show. We do not hold auditions and welcome all but do need to take measures to make sure our casts are balanced enough with different ages for our program to work. Musical Theater Experiences reserves the right to take children off the waitlist that will ensure a balanced cast. We always have the goal of making this experience the most successful and joyful as possible for your children and appreciate your understanding. – Jennifer Jarvis

Beginner to advanced players are welcome (16 and up, our oldest is 75) Peers will be available to support you as you learn the basics and transition from the backyard to maybe tournament level play. Advanced players play with peers, but also are asked to team up with others to share ideas and skills. We share and rotate court time. We play in a supportive, positive environment. You will need to bring enthusiasm, a racket (we have them for evaluation, sale and a few to use until you get one) a change of court shoes (no outside shoes in the gym) and water. We provide shuttles, but you may use your own. This is a recreational and developmental program, and we share court time. Preregistration through the Carlisle Recreation is required. No play if schools are closed. You may register for either one or both nights for the season. We will limit the numbers of participants. You will check in each night. Open to those from surrounding towns.
