Our main objective is to create a safe and inclusive environment where children with disabilities can explore and engage in a variety of sports activities that are tailored to their abilities and interests. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to participate in sports and experience the physical, mental, and social benefits that come with it. In our program, we offer a wide range of adaptive sports that cater to individual needs and preferences. We will work closely with each child to develop their skills, build confidence, and promote overall physical fitness. The program provides one-on-one or small group instruction to ensure personalized attention. This allows our instructors to adapt the sports activities to match the abilities and goals of each child. We understand that every child is unique, so our instructors focus on creating individualized training plans that consider their strengths, challenges, and personal goals. Moreover, our program goes beyond the physical aspect of sports. We emphasize the development of important life skills such as teamwork, communication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Through adaptive sports, children learn to overcome challenges, set and achieve goals, and build resilience, fostering personal growth and self-esteem. We also value the social aspect of sports, and our program provides opportunities for children to connect with their peers, form friendships, and share experiences

First, our Right Brain Curriculum instructors will review the history of what we are about to build: How airports graduated from landing strips to vast travel networks, how Depression-era farms survived hordes of grasshoppers, how aeroelasticity explains why the Tacoma bridge nicknamed “Galloping Gertie” collapsed. Then, it’s time to build! You will create a model of each type of structure out of an enormous assortment of provided Legos, then present your creation as we photograph and document it. Learning and Legos: A perfect match!

Then it’s off to the races as you and a partner have limited time to create your scene and present it to the class. Presentation skills will be key as you try to persuade your classmates that your Lego creation is #1. Our Right Brain Curriculum Instructors will help you use persuasive language, eye contact and proper posture for perfected presentations. Legos and Public Speaking, now that’s a match!

We wanted to update everyone on our waitlist policy now and going forward. Theater programs work differently than most activities. Most theater programs hold auditions to make sure their cast is balanced for parts in a show. We do not hold auditions and welcome all but do need to take measures to make sure our casts are balanced enough with different ages for our program to work. Musical Theater Experiences reserves the right to take children off the waitlist that will ensure a balanced cast. We always have the goal of making this experience the most successful and joyful as possible for your children and appreciate your understanding. – Jennifer Jarvis

The calendar for the school year 24-25 will touch upon many approaches to learning: Including creative arts, listening, and understanding (receptive language), expressive language, scientific inquiry, life science, physical science, health and safety, earth and space, engineering, geography, family, community and others, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, counting and cardinality, measurement, data, and patterns, phonological and phonemic awareness, print awareness, early reading skills and emergent writing.
Our passion is to inspire children with play-based activities, themed centers, and base curriculum that nurture and challenge Little Learners. As educators, we are constantly thinking up new and engaging centers for every theme, creating visual supports and activities to meet the needs of all our Little Learners. Children learn by doing, getting messy, investigating their questions and problem solving with their friends. They learn by playing games, using their imaginations, expressing their emotions, creating and exploring the world around them. We want our program/classroom to be a warm and inviting home for Little Learners to explore, create and discover new things! Children must be toilet trained to attend. This program runs with three highly qualified teachers. The student teacher ratio is 3-1. Space is very limited and early sign-up is encouraged to ensure a space. Minimum of 5 participants.
