On a mission to get eaters of all ages and abilities, cooking, tasting, and thinking about healthy ingredients!
We are redefining kid food! We present students with the opportunity to explore new or familiar foods in their raw, unmanipulated state. Then, working as a team, they’ll slice, dice, peel, measure, and cook until they’ve prepared the finished dish. Class closes with an opportunity to taste the result of their hard work. Students receive a printed recipe card and the focal ingredient - or a sample of the finished dish - so they can show off what they learned!
Even the most reluctant eaters enjoy Kids’ Test Kitchen, where participation is encouraged, and the choice to taste is always one’s own. Lessons are planned to celebrate seasonal produce, whole grains, and legumes.
Yes – join us again! Each scheduled series of classes offers fresh new recipes to prepare and explore!
Kids have food allergies, but they shouldn’t miss out on the fun. We know allergies and can work around them, making sure that everyone is having fun and staying safe. *Please clearly disclose all food allergies and/or dietary restrictions upon registration.

We share and rotate court time. We play in a supportive, positive environment. You will need to bring enthusiasm, a racket (we have them for evaluation, sale and a few to use until you get one) a change of court shoes (no outside shoes in the gym) and water. We provide the shuttles, but you may use your own. This is a recreational and developmental program.
Preregistration thru the Carlisle Recreation Dept. is required. No play if schools are closed. We will limit the numbers of participants. You will check in each night. Open to those from surrounding towns.

Join us for a supervised opportunity for middle school students to be a part of a planning committee to get creative and take the initiative to plan classes and events for all Middle School students. It has long been identified that activities for our middle school children are a need in local communities. What better way to find out what our middle schoolers would like to participate in than to include our students in the brainstorming, planning, implementation and evaluation of a class or event. This opportunity will meet a well-known town need for middle school children and put Carlisle Recreation on the MAP for middle school programs. This will ultimately lead to a higher participation in recreation programs by middle school children as well.
Space is limited to 10 students (to start). Sign up today and Get on the MAP!
