This six-week Pranayama & Breathwork series introduces participants to traditional breathing practices that support relaxation, stress management, focus, and overall well-being. No prior yoga or pranayama experience is required.
Each session will begin with gentle movements and relaxation to prepare the body and mind, followed by guided pranayama and breath-awareness practices. Participants will learn breath control techniques while gradually developing a better understanding of their natural breathing patterns and how different practices can be used to create a sense of calm, balance, or focus.
By the end of the series, the participants will have a practical set of breathing and relaxation techniques that will help them:
- Strengthen the lungs and balance the nervous system.
- Gain better control over the function of respiration.
- Induce physical and mental stability.
Participants should attend with an empty stomach or ensure at least 3 hours have passed since their last meal. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, and yoga blocks (optional).
