Based on her book, Vedic Mathematics Reimagined: A Student Perspective, this workshop transforms "scary" math into a series of fun, lightning-fast mental tricks. Students will learn techniques to solve complex multiplication, squaring, and addition problems in seconds—often faster than a calculator! This isn't just about numbers; it's about building math confidence and seeing patterns in a whole new way. Student Instructor Bio: Aariana Gawande is a 7th-grade student at the Carlisle Public School with a passion for mathematics, problem-solving, and helping fellow students discover the fun side of learning. She is the author of the book Vedic Mathematics Reimagined: A Student Perspective, where she shares creative and practical approaches to making math faster, easier, and more enjoyable. As a student who has successfully applied Vedic Mathematics techniques in her own learning journey, Aariana enjoys teaching peers how to recognize patterns, improve mental math skills, and build confidence in tackling challenging problems. Her engaging teaching style combines hands-on activities, friendly competition, and interactive games that make learning both effective and exciting. Through this workshop, Aariana hopes to inspire students to approach math with curiosity and confidence while equipping them with powerful mental calculation strategies they can use throughout the school year and beyond.
