Give your young storyteller a space to imagine, explore, and create. In this six-week workshop, students will learn the basics of building a story—character, setting, dialogue, and conflict - through fun activities, guided prompts, and collaborative discussion.
Each week offers a new doorway into storytelling. Kids will experiment with different genres, practice reading their work aloud, and learn simple tools for turning ideas into clear, confident writing. No experience needed - just curiosity and a love of stories.
We’ll Cover:
- Creating memorable characters
- Building vivid settings and worlds
- Crafting strong story beginnings
- Dialogue and voice
- Plot and structure basics
- Sharing work in a supportive group
By the end, students will leave with a handful of mini-stories and a stronger sense of their own creative voice.
