This super fun and popular workshop is back for a winter evening option! Alcohol ink is highly pigmented dye, as the inks are isopropyl alcohol based, they evaporate much quicker, so the paint dries in only a few minutes. However, once the ink is dry it can be “revived” to be processed and manipulated further. Because of the nature of these inks there is a variety of techniques and styles that are unique to alcohol inks. This workshop gives a foundation for what alcohol inks are and how they work. After a brief introduction, students are hands-on with the inks, learning basic techniques then creating their own works of art on tile/paper that they can take home. Appropriate dress for a messy medium that will stain clothes. A medium sized shallow container or box will be helpful for bringing home finished pieces. All supplies included.
