This program is perfect for the first time equestrian or experienced riders alike.  A safe and fun atmosphere geared towards learning correct and thoughtful ways to work with horses! 
Here at Mango Bay Equestrian, we promote learning how to communicate with our horses safely, effectively and kindly on the ground before hopping in the saddle.  Class will be 75 minutes if we have 4 or more registered.
During this six-class series you will learn:
  • How to safely work around horses
  • How to communicate with horses through body language
                The coordination of leading, sending and drawing
                Understanding movements and thoughts of a prey animal
                The cues behind a horse’s different postures, facial expressions and gestures  
  • How to groom
  • A basic understanding of how to prepare a horse to carry a rider
  • How to create a respectful and thoughtful relationship to prepare for riding
What you need:
  • Hard-toed shoes
  • Weather appropriate attire
  • A positive attitude!
Mass certified Riding Instructors, groundwork gurus, horse behavior and equine relationship fanatics
