Simplicity Parenting is an approach founded by Kim John Payne, Therapist and Parent Educator. Its emphasis is on helping parents reframe the idea of discipline as it relates to the needs of children based on their phase of development. The Tween Years (ages 9-14) is a time of wondrous and complex transition that presents many challenges for parents and caregivers. In this 6-week series, we will discover and cultivate how the Gardener Principle offers a creative and meaningful outlook in our relationships with this distinctive Middle School bridge
We’ll guide you in the process of:
  • Pruning your family garden to bring out the best in your Tween and to gently help them with challenges.
  • Learning to grow in connection with your Tween by taking more time to listen.
  • Respectful Communication.
  • How to help your Tween take into consideration the Needs of Others as they form their ideas and plans
  • Growing your parenting gesture to one of taking in their input while still being a loving, kind authority.
Each online series has:  Video topic with Founder of Simplicity Parenting, Kim John Payne and meaningful discussion facilitated by Certified Simplicity Parenting Group Leaders with decades of experience as Educators.
