Simplicity Parenting Discipline & Guidance: The First 9 years

Simplicity Parenting is an approach founded by Kim John Payne, Therapist and Parent Educator. Its emphasis is on helping parents reframe the idea of discipline as it relates to the needs of children based on their phase of development. The key component in the first 9 years is establishing the Governor Principal, a time of laying down the foundational bedrocks of family values. Join like-minded parents in an 8-week journey towards step-by-step doable changes that bring more harmony towards balance in meeting day to day challenges in parenting. 
In this series, we’ll support and guide you through the process of: 
  • Creating boundaries based on family values. 
  • Helping your child develop impulse control. 
  • Learning “creative compliance”. 
  • Managing your child’s display of overwhelm. 
  • Learning to lead children in creative, positive ways, which will help to strengthen their character and your overall relationship with them. 
Each online series has: Video topic with Founder of Simplicity Parenting, Kim John Payne and meaningful discussion facilitated by Certified Simplicity Parenting Group Leaders with decades of experience as Educators.
